Staff Educator

  • Reinforce the manager's positive approach and acknowledgement of the effort of preceptors and other staff.

  • Participate in monitoring and evaluating the preceptorship experience.

  • Support, on a regular basis, all aspects of goal setting, communication and evaluation.

  • Promote collaboration among key participants (preceptor, preceptee, manager, faculty member if preceptee is a student, and others involved in the preceptorship experience).

  • Support mentorship programs.

  • Help preceptor/preceptee dyad to keep the learning goals and activities within the parameters of the preceptorship program.
